Harley VanKirk started working on bikes at a very young age. He bought a broken dirt bike with money that he earned "Walking Beans". His father was so upset and thinking he was going to teach his son a lesson, told Harley that he had to fix it himself.  Two weeks later Harley was riding that bike all over the Nebraska county side.

Since that time Harley has worked as a machinist, welder, and fabricator for The Healey Werks in nearby Lawton , IA. ,restoring exotic autos like Ferrari's and Maserattis. With a background in graphic design and great fabrication skills, Harley has built a reputation for building quality bikes and making customized fabrications at affordable prices. Harley specializes in frame modifications built to any specification (ridged, soft-tail, choppers, bobbers).  All frame work is done with Crom-Molly tubing and TIG welded.

Harley has also won several awards for his customized choppers from Capital City Customs Show and Midwest Motor Cycle Show.
